What happens to my membership fees?
1
Act responsibly - report transparently
We provide regular reports on how contributions are used and also keep members informed about current projects on the ground. This way, our members always know how their contributions are being used and what impact they are having. This ensures that our work remains not only effective but also responsible.
2
Targeted use of resources
Current membership fees are used to specifically cover the project house, the sub-projects, and living expenses (water, food, electricity, compensation). Approximately €500 is allocated for this purpose each month .
Membership fees are also used to cover the ongoing costs of Unapendwa e.V. in Germany. These costs are kept as low as possible and primarily serve advertising purposes and the financing of the website.
3
Partnership on equal terms
To actively counteract any power imbalance, care is always taken to ensure that the partner organization does not become financially dependent and makes its own decisions. For example, the proceeds from the bag project are also used to cover local living expenses.
